"It's the Climb"

Now for those of you running away because of the Miley Cyrus quote, stick around. I'm not talking about Miley in this blog post. It's not even much of a post. I found this video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GU7lZEZ4PGs

I thought it was breathtaking and it gave me chills. I looked at the description and I read the question: "Is it REALLY NOT about whats waiting on the other side??? What do you think? Could you appreciate the climb if there was no reward?"

I wanted to share my reply to that question with all of you.

"as for the question...the lyrics are true. when it says "it ain't about what's waiting on the other side" it's not saying that there's no reward.

but all the hardwork to get to your goal is what's really important. the journey- because if you think about it in terms of life...

life isn't about a destination- the destination is death- life is about what we do on the journey. :] those are my thoughts on it."

The Things We Come Up With...

Hello world! :]
It's been forever since I've made a blog, hasn't it?
Well, I was talking to one of my bfflz on the phone last night
and I introduced him to the world of blogspot which in turn
made ME miss blogspot. :]

So, we were talking last night right? And being teenagers
we came around to the obvious subject of love.

And we posed the question: is it better in a relationship
to be the one who loves more or the one who loves less?

there are negatives to both scenarios when you look at it.
the person who loves more becomes the person who is hurt worse
when the relationship is over. however, the person who loves
less is wracked with guilt for not feeling as strongly.

we came to the conclusion that it's better to be loved more,
but you have to love the other person very strongly. if your
loved one is willing to buy you a boquet of 40 roses, you should
be willing to give them a whole bunch of stuffed animals and a
night to remember. :]

don't you guys agree?

we also came to the conclusion that love is stupid and complicated.
it completley messes everything up, yet in our warped mines we crave
it, desire it, and need it to be happy. we hate it, yet we love it.
it makes us feel special and it utterly destroys us. it's the most
complicated emotion on the planet, and yet it's the most basic.

love sucks.
love rocks.
love bites.
love bleeds.
love makes you crazy in all ways.
in the end, love is love.

I know it's been forever since I posted a blog, but I had ever reason!
School was driving me crazy with work and projects and whatnot so I
had absolutely zero time to fool around. *sigh* But, school is over
and I'm finally able to relax and BREATHE. Yaaay.

So, as of Thursday, I am officially a senior. ;D Class of 2010 baby!
Anywho, today I dedicate this blog to my bffrzz alezzie<3. He's probably
my biggest fan in everything I do and he's just so amazing. He has a way of
making me smile without even trying! We could talk for HOURS about absolutely
nothing, and it's so much fun. =) A conversation with him is never boring. lulz.

So today, it's his birthday and he turns seventeen. (What a loser right? lol. j/k)
I think he deserves the admiration of everyone on the planet so why not dedicate
a blog to him??

i'm so 3008, you're so 2000 and late!

like hiiiiii. =)

for those of you who read my blog let me give you a quick run down
on how my day was SUPPOSED to go:

1. morning meeting w/ tri-m music honor society
2. after-school: choir practice,
field day committee meeting,
and venturing.

all at the same time. lovely right??

well, apparently, life decided to give me a break and there was a
situation at school so all the after-school activities were cancelled.
i can imagine my choir teacher wasn't too happy about that. xDDD

so, today was fun. venturing was awesome and i finally paid for guajataka.
i'm not gonna go into details because i don't think its smart and i'm lazy to boot!

warning to men; hilarious truth to women!

Okay, my mom's friend sent her this e-mail and I just HAD to share it with you guys.

Nine words women use...

1.) Fine : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

6.) That's Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.

hey everyone!

Not sure which one. Leaning towards Sonshine though. If you haven't noticed, most of them (okay all) have to do with Sonny with a Chance. I'm addicted and obsessed, yes I know. Spare me the details.

Tomorrow is half-day, but I'm not going to school because I have to do something for passports 'cause I'm going on a trip this July for a family reunion. Ugh, I'm kinda glad and kinda sad. Why? Well, I have an AP Lit exam on Thursday and I also have a US history double chapter test. It's insane.

AWWW, interruption. I'm in the library and Carlos and Arii had the sweetest moment in the world.<3333333

I'm missing school tomorrow which means I'm missing reviews for both tests. Oh well, I'm just gonna have to work double time tomorrow so that I'm ready for EVERYTHING thursday. DX holy carp. *tears*. Hmm...well, I have choir practice after-school and Laurie has Fine Arts practice. Hopefully she'll see my note to her on twitter, and she won't panic when I don't show up on time. Hmm, that's it I think.

Promises, Prom-misses

Well, I know I promised a blog today, and I am going to BLOG!

Go over the basics of the week shall we?

• Annie is done and over with. (It went fabulous. I'm still having teachers come up to me randomly and congratulate me. lol)


• School is almost over with!


• May 8th is field day ooooorr beach day...gotta ask the 'rents about that.


• May 7th is dreaded AP Lit final exam.


• Basically all the final stuff is going on.


• Today was the senior breakfast at school.

So, okay, pressing pause! Dad just brought me food. ;D *pause at 7:12pm*

All right so where were we? Oh yes. My day. Haha. All in all it was a good day, I'm getting caught up in work, I didn't feel bad or anything. It was good. My good mood started last night and nothing really ruined it until I got home and saw some stupid video on youtube. =/ It wasn't so much the video that bothered me as the comments on it. I'm not gonna go into this huge sensitive debate about gay rights, but i'll just let you know that I am for gay marriage. To me, its the same situation as interracial marriage. I have so many thoughts on this subject that I feel really strongly about, but I'm not gonna put them on right here. If you want to talk to me about it or debate or whatever DM on twitter. (My twitter is at the end).

This weekend is basically family/homework. (As I see many of the following weekends being....I am so behind on some things...). Tomorrow I have a birthday/baby shower and I'm excited. It's a pirate theme! Hahaha. (For those who don't get why I'm laughing, my school mascot is a pirate). Arrghh...mom is debating about me wearing my pirate costume from homecoming week. lol.

Besides that, I really just have a lot of work cut out a head of me but I'm hoping to make time for my friends and all my extra curriculars. I need to tutor for 4 hours and I need 10 hours of community service for NHS. Tutoring not so much of a problem....10 hours of community service...might be.

Well, I'm rambling so I'm guessing that's my cue to stop. But before I leave, I gotta say this.... @FABZIESNANERS IS GONNA BE A SENIOR WITH ME NEEEEEXT YEAAAAR! *does happy dance*

How sweet the sound...

Well, a little background issues for those who don't know...
I have two computers at home. One that's a big screen monitor, and
another that's the regular size.

Today my dad fixed the smaller computer which had no sound for months.
So, I'm listening to all the music I had on the iTunes on this computer right now.
*dances*

Okay, April 23 Recap:

• Went to school (late).
• During 2nd period we were watching Bolt (SO CUTE.) but class ended JUST aswe got to the part of the hamster. How NOT cool is that? =/
• Fourth period I was twittering ;D.
• Fifth period I went to show choir and we all picked up and headed over to the PX (aka mini mall) to have little sketch of the show. We also got the chance to eat over there. (YUUUUM. QUALITY FOOD. lulz) It was so much fun. I loved it. My show choir is the shiz.<3333
• Came back and had a cool time in sixth. Teacher still wasn't there so i just did some hw.
• 7th period we did a jepoardy and the entire class got really into it. and to top it all off, dad picked us up early.
• OH and of course, it was Grandma's birthday today and the family had a small little get together.

I felt that I owed you all a lovely little post, and I thought about putting in a little
excerpt of some of my writings since that's mostly what's going to be going on here, so without further ado. Here is "She Is Brighter" a one-shot about Alice Cullen and Jasper Hale from the Twilight series.

Diamonds come and Diamonds go

There's one thing I'm sure I know

She will last forever

I stared at the T.V. There was some program on about some reality T.V. star trying to find ‘true love’ on a show. The man got down and proposed to the woman and she gasped when she saw the diamond. In a commentary she made later, she said “Any man who would spend that much money on a diamond ring like that…has to love me!”. I rolled my eyes at the idiocy going on. I didn’t even know why I was watching this. Alice had kidnapped Bella and Edward and taken them on a shopping spree much to Bella’s dismay. I chuckled at the thought, you’d think that after over two years of being dragged around shopping with Alice, Bella would have gotten used to it by now.

Emmett was somewhere with Rosalie (I honestly did not want to know), Carlisle was in his study and Esme was in the backyard gardening. So, I was basically on my own for the afternoon. I sighed as I changed the channel. Reality T.V. love was so stupid. If that woman thought that the diamond she got was true love, she had another thing coming. I knew real love, and I was still feeling it at this very moment. I smiled when I thought of that. I changed the channel again and my eyes glanced over at the corner that said the date and time. My eyes widened in surprise. Was it really the 10th of July already?

I bit my lip. Our anniversary was today! I should mention something, or do something. Of course, Alice and I had never really celebrated our anniversaries seeing as how we’d be having them for all eternity. We were never the kind of couple that showed off too much. Alice was mine and I was hers and we were just happy with that. We didn’t need to throw big fancy parties, or go out to dinner all the time like some couples I knew. Even though, Alice would love to throw a party. But, who would we invite? Our family? No one outside knew that we were married, with the exception of Bella and the Denali Clan but they were considered family anyway.

It got me thinking for a moment. I wonder what it would be like if Alice and I had met while we had been human; if we had had the chance to be a normal human couple. I knew that I had a normal upbringing, but we weren’t too sure about Alice’s human life other than the time she spent in the asylum for her visions. I scowled at that thought, and clenched my fist. How could anyone do that to poor sweet Alice? She had probably been frightened by her visions as well, and didn’t understand them.

I was brought out by my thoughts when I heard the front door open and close. I suddenly heard a heartbeat and I knew Alice and the others had arrived. I turned my head to the doorway and I saw her prance in. I could feel the grin on my face grow even wider. She came into the room with about ten bags in each hand, Edward followed behind her with six bags and Bella was holding two boxes in her arms and she looked completely drained. I chuckled as Alice danced her way to me and sat down beside me on the couch. She dropped all her bags on the floor in front of us and she leaned against me.

“Phew!” she sighed. “That was an amazing shopping spree! I can’t wait to show you all the things I got! I got you a few outfits too. You’ll like them,” Alice said having already had visions of my enjoying whatever she got for me. I knew I would like it as well, since my angel had gotten them for me. Okay, so I’m a sap sometimes. Sue me.

I wrapped my arm around her and kissed her temple. She looked up at me and smiled. Edward sat down on the loveseat beside us and pulled Bella into his lap. She gratefully cuddled up next to him and closed her eyes. Obviously, shopping with Alice had drained her. “So, what did you do while we were out?” Alice asked me.

I just shrugged and motioned towards the T.V. in front of us. “I was really bored to be honest,” I admitted.

She grinned, “Good! So that means you wouldn’t mind us all going out to dinner tonight! I really want to give Bella an occasion to dress up and- "

Immediately, I sensed Bella’s distress at the thought of wearing any of the outfits she had bought today. She was probably thinking about what fancy restaurant Alice would want to go to or something. It really sucked to be able to be an empath and not understand the reasons behind why people were feeling what they were feeling. I envied Edward’s gift for that very reason quite a few times. I decided to help Bella out. Edward was obviously trying to comfort his loved one and I chuckled as I shook my head.

“Actually, Alice, I was thinking that maybe we could play ball tonight? The weather forecaster said that there was supposed to be a storm, can you see anything happening?” I asked.

If there wasn’t a storm, I wouldn’t be able to convince Alice not to throw that little dinner party she had planned, but if there was it would be a piece of cake. We hadn’t played baseball ever sine the incident with James. I glanced over at Bella. She felt a little anxious, memories of her last Cullen baseball game perhaps? I glanced back down at Alice as she tensed and began to have a vision.

I had seen her do this many times before, but I couldn’t help feel anxious whenever she had a vision. She was so tense, so solid…so….dead. It was very different from the Alice I was accustomed to. The hyper little pixie that was my wife.

Edward glanced over at Alice’s form and was slightly tense as well. He was reading her vision in her minds as she saw it. Again, something I envied. If I knew what Alice was seeing maybe I would relax a little. She came out of her trance and grinned at me.

“I think a baseball game would be a great idea! Bella can wear the sporty outfit I bought her today!” she squealed. Bella groaned and buried her head in Edward’s shoulder even more. It made us (us being Edward, Alice and myself) start laughing and I swear I saw her cheeks grow pink. I knew I could feel her embarrassment though. I wondered what was so bad about the outfit.

“You’ll look beautiful, love,” Edward murmured into her ear. Bella calmed down slightly hearing that. I looked over at Alice. She was already planning everything in her mind. “I should go tell Rosalie and Emmett…” she muttered but she didn’t move from her spot beside me. Obviously, she knew that they were….busy at the moment.

She felt my gaze on her and smiled. I loved her smile.

“What?” she asked with a small laugh after seeing the goofy look on my face.

“Have I ever told you how much I love you?”

Alice grinned and leaned her face closer to mine. “Hmmm…once or twice I think. Why?”

She is brighter.

I closed the gap between us and kiss her lips. She smiled but I moved back before she had a chance to kiss me back. Alice looked at me with curious eyes, but her smile never faltered. She was still waiting for my answer.

“Happy anniversary,” I told her and her eyes widened in shock. Alice grinned and tackled me into a hug. I fell backwards slightly but I wrapped my arms around her and laughed. “What are you trying to do, kill me?”

Alice laughed, “Never” and kissed me. I knew Edward and Bella were still in the room and I could feel Bella’s surprise at our sudden show of affection. She wasn’t used to us being this way. However, I only focused on Alice’s joy and mine. “I can’t believe I didn’t see this. Thank you for remembering,” she whispered as she broke our kiss for a moment. I smiled at her. It was typical of Alice to be so excited over the simplest things. That’s one of the reasons I love her so much. She gives me hope when I think its impossible. We kissed again.

She is brighter.
